ASCL courses are numbered by category, not by their level of difficulty.
None of the courses numbered in the 50s, 60s and 70s have prerequisites.
Broadly speaking, courses numbered in the 50s are usually discipline-specific (DS) courses related to South and Southeast Asia, courses numbered in the 60s are usually discipline-specific (DS) courses related to East Asia and courses numbered in the 70s are usually Interdisciplinary, Interregional, Transnational and Diaspora Studies (IITD) courses.
The course schedule for each term is still subject to change until timetable is published for that term.
