The Chinese Language House hosts a celebration of the Chinese Spring Festival (Lunar New Year) for undergraduate students at Dartmouth interested in Chinese culture.
Activities will include making and eating dumplings, writing the character “福” (Fú, meaning “good fortune”) with a brush (Chinese calligraphy), cutting out the character “春” (Chūn, meaning “spring”), DIY Dragon, guessing lantern riddles, student performances, and a Chinese cultural knowledge contest. The event is open to Dartmouth College undergraduates with an interest in Chinese culture.
Sponsored by the Chinese Language House LLC and the Dept. of Asian Societies, Cultures, & Languages, with financial support from the Office of Residential Education.
Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
