Second, use the Paypal link that appears below the embedded form to pay the annual dues; select the appropriate category ($30 US domestic or $40 international), click "pay now" and follow the instructions on the Paypal site (it is not necessary to have a Paypal account to use this payment service). We encourage everyone not driving to Hanover to book their rooms at Six South Street, and to book early—by 1 March at the latest. If possible, please bunk with a roommate.
Those planning to drive up to Dartmouth could do us a big favor by booking their rooms in a hotel in one of the neighboring towns (Lebanon, NH; West Lebanon, NH; Norwich, VT; White River Junction, VT), all a short 20-minute drive from Hanover and the College.
Please note that Uber and Lyft services are not a viable option in our area. While there is a local bus service with various routes, its schedule will not work for conference attendees.

Travel to Dartmouth:

Dartmouth is about three hours from Boston and five from New York City. Below, you will find recommended methods of transportation to get to campus.

BUS SERVICE:

For travel from Boston (South Station or Logan Airport) or New York City (Midtown Manhattan at 150 East 42nd Street between Lexington and 3rd Avenue) to Hanover, NH, we recommend the Dartmouth Coach bus service. Their New York service requires a pre-reservation for a specific trip and time. While we recommend buying a ticket in advance for the Boston service, it is not required. You can use a Boston - Hanover service ticket for any later Dartmouth Coach bus if flights are delayed, without concern about changing a specific reservation.

This link has handy information about finding the bus pickup location at Boston Logan Airport.

*Please note that Dartmouth Coach is a private company and not affiliated with Dartmouth College.

AIR TRAVEL:

We strongly recommend flying into Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). Approximately three hours from Hanover, it is the largest airport in the area and offers the most flight options. There is a direct coach service from the airport to Hanover through the Dartmouth Coach, making it the easiest option for most participants. Please make sure to take the Dartmouth Coach Boston service schedule into account before making your flight reservations.

DRIVING AND PARKING:

Six South Street Hotel does offer valet parking for an additional fee per night.
The hotel is also located next to the large public parking garage for Hanover.

Dartmouth College campus parking information including a map of parking lots is available here:
Parking information

There are ChargePoint level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations on the Dartmouth campus for use by visitors and employees. Rates and terms of use are posted at EV charging stalls, with sessions initiated and paid for via the Charge Point App
Electric vehicle charging station locations:
Thompson Lot (near the Thompson Arena ice rink)
Dana Lot (near the Dartmouth Medical School and Anonymous Hall)
Emily and Errik Anderson Parking Garage (located on the West End of campus at 15 Thayer Drive)

TRAIN:

Amtrak offers daily service at stops from Washington, DC to nearby White River Junction, VT, on their Vermonter line. There is no public transportation from White River Junction, and it will require a pre-arranged private car service. Local car services include Door-to-Door Driving Services or Grace Limousine. Please note that we have limited Uber and Lyft drivers in the area. We do not recommend relying on those services for transportation in our area.
