The Hood Museum of Art will present Asian Art at Dartmouth: Highlights from the Hood Museum of Art, opening January 9, 2027. The exhibition will feature 191 works spanning East, South, and Southeast Asia and the Himalayas, with a focus on works created before 1950.
Curated by Haely Chang, the inaugural Jane and Raphael Bernstein Associate Curator of East Asian Art at the Hood Museum of Art, the exhibition marks the first major presentation of the museum’s Asian art collection and will include 103 works that have never been exhibited before, offering new opportunities to explore the breadth and history of the collection.
The exhibition will be on view through November 13, 2027.
