A still from the documentary film, Black Box Diaries, directed by Shiori Itō.
During the Week of October 6-10th, Dartmouth welcomes to our campus Shiori Itō, an Oscar and BAFTA nominated documentary film director, journalist, and gender-rights activist from Japan.
In her powerful discussions and in conversation with members of Dartmouth faculty, Shiori will use her experience with sexual violence to speak on the survivor experience navigating societal taboo and the criminal justice system.
